Unusual subject matter

Sealed 1/9 Ambrotype of a Bearded Man instrument About 7" x 31850s ninth plate ambrotype. Original seals still hold an iron sheet to the back of the image. Light speckling visible under magnification.. those light areas almost look likegold paint on the image, but it might be just showing through from the back.. not100% sure. In half of a case.
